\nThe strongly inter-disciplinary character of the programme\xc2\xa0 is reflected in the fact that the program is open to holders of a wide range of Bachelor degrees in basic sciences and engineering, i.e. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.

\nThe following required admission profile is expected to be met by the largely common elements of the first 2 years of university education in science and engineering:

\n18 ECTS or equivalent hours/week, e.g. Analysis I + II + III
\n
\nMinimum required contents in "Natural Sciences"
\n12 ECTS or equivalent hours/week, e.g. Physics I + II

\nMinimum required contents in "Engineering Sciences"
\n12 ECTS or equivalent hours/week, e.g. 6 ECTS each from two of the following: Mechanics, Electrical Engineering, Thermodynamics, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Control Systems
