Academic Requirements
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution, RN licensure, minimum of one-year critical care experience as a registered nurse (surgical, medical, neurosurgical, trauma ICU, pediatric or neonatal acceptable; PACU or ER will be determined on an individual basis)
- Minimum GPA is 3.0
- Minimum GRE score is 300 (combined Verbal and Quantitative)
- Combination of inorganic, organic and biochemistry coursework (laboratory not required). Classes can be combinedall content must be covered. (Minimum of 2 semesters/3 quarters of chemistry)
- Physics (laboratory not required; one semester)
- Statistics or Nursing Research (one semester)
- Anatomy, Physiology, Biology (one semester each)
- Health Assessment (one semester)
- English comprehension (one semester)
- Current ACLS, PALS and BCLS certification are required for enrollment
- Conversational Spanish is strongly recommended.
