Academic Requirements
You need the following GPA score:
Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 3.2 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).
Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).
- Proof of current NJ registered nurse licensure
- Bachelor\'s degree in nursing from a nationally accredited program with at least a 3.2 GPA (where A = 4.0);
- Official transcripts of all previous college work
- Personal Statement; Two letters of reference from professional sources (one must come from a nurse academician;
- Resum\xc3\xa9
- Two scholarly papers of which the applicant is sole author (may be a published article, book chapter, or a paper completed for coursework), applicants who do not have such a paper may write a scholarly paper on a topic of their choice\xc2\x97it should be 6\xc2\x9610 pages in length, double spaced and include references using APA format

- An interview with faculty may be required.
