Academic Requirements
You need the following GPA score:
Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 2.5 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).
Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).
- Professional Certification Concentration\xc2\xa0\xc2\x96 Possession of GSP, ASP, or CSP certification.
- EHS Degree/Work Experience Concentration\xc2\xa0\xc2\x96 Possession of a bachelor\xc2\x92s degree in Environmental, Safety and Health and/or a minimum of three or more years of full time EHS work. Admission based on employment requires written verification from your employer confirming years of experience in EHS \xc2\x96 applicants will not be admitted without employment verification.\xc2\xa0
- Foundation Concentration\xc2\xa0\xc2\x96 one semester each of chemistry and physics (one with a lab), college algebra, and statistics. Applicant must submit a 3-5 page essay that demonstrates writing skills.\xc2\xa0 Essay should describe the applicant\xc2\x92s work experiences, describe why they are seeking the MS OSM, and how it relates to their future career goals.\xc2\xa0 Applicants will not be admitted without the essay.\xc2\xa0
