Program Curriculum
Course Structure
- To be considered for a 3-year PhD fellowship, you must hold a Master's degree.
- To be considered for a 4-year PhD fellowship, you must hold a Bachelor's degree and have passed Master's degree exams equivalent to 60 ECTS.

Academic Requirements
To apply for the Master\'s programme in Applied Mathematics, you need a relevant Bachelor\'s degree. You can apply if you hold one of the following degrees from University of Southern Denmark:
- BSc in Applied Mathematics
- BSc in Mathematics
- BSc in Mathematics-Economics
You can also apply if you hold a similar degree including at least 50 ECTS within mathematics, numerical analysis and statistics. Once you apply, the study board will assess whether your degree is qualifying.
If your degree does not fulfill the entry requirements, the study board will decide whether you can follow one or more supplementary courses.
English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
