Academic Requirements

Candidates for admission to the Master of Leadership and Management (Policing and Security) program shall:

  • hold a Bachelor degree in a related area, or have qualified for an equivalent award, or
  • have completed the requirements of the Graduate Diploma in Leadership and Management (Policing and Security) or subjects deemed equivalent by the Course Coordinator

    • Candidates for admission to the Graduate Diploma in Leadership and Management (Policing and Security) shall:

  • either hold a Bachelor degree in a related area, or have qualified for an equivalent award, or
  • have completed the requirements for the Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Management (Policing and Security) or subjects deemed equivalent by the Course Coordinator

    • Candidates for admission to the Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Management (Policing and Security) shall:

  • either hold a Bachelor degree in a related area or have qualified for an equivalent award, or
  • be able to prove experience in a leadership and management role to the satisfaction of the Course Coordinator

    • Additionally, a number of police jurisdictions have articulation arrangements with the School, and prospective applicants should discuss these with the Course Coordinator.

    English Proficiency: IELTS 6 or equivalent.
