Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
Applicants with an educational background from outside Norway, should have a first degree (Bachelor\xc2\xb4s degree) of three or four years\xc2\xb4 duration from an approved institution of higher education. The Bachelor\xc2\xb4s degree must have a specialization in English. It should correspond to 1 1/2 years of full-time study.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of achievements in previous studies. In general, applicants must attain a "First class", "Upper 2nd class", or grade point average of "B" to be considered.
In addition to having a BA degree in English all applicants must provide additional evidence of English language proficiency, for example International English Language Testing Service (IELTS) or Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). The requirement for admission to the Master\'s programme in English is 7,5 on the IELTS, 590 on the TOEFL (paper), or 96 on TOEFL IBT (internet based).
