Academic Requirements
- A Bachelor degree from a German University or from a University from a Bologna-country. This degree has to be in a field of study closely related to that of the Master programme (e.g. geography, spatial planning, regional development, landscape and environmental planning, traffic planning).
- Or a similar degree from another foreign University, in a closely related programme. The similarity is assessed by the assessment criteria dictated by the central department for foreign education of the permanent office of the Kultusministerkonferenz.
- Adequate knowledge (Level B2) of the English language. For the obligatory stay abroad, if the course is conducted in a language other than English, the student is required to prove an adequate knowledge of the host country language, according to the learning agreement, whether it be German, French, Dutch or Swedish. The definition of the level of knowledge is given by the GERS.
