Admission Requirements

Academic Requirements

The following Bachelor\xc2\x92s degrees qualify students for admission to the Master of Science in Engineering degree programme in Electrical Engineering:

  • A Bachelor of Engineering degree in electronics from a Danish university or engineering college if mathematical competencies equal to the courses Applied Linear Algebra (5 ECTS) and Stochastic Modelling and Processing (5 ECTS) can be documented.
  • Bachelor\xc2\x92s degrees with at least 60 ECTS in the field of Electrical Engineering can provide admission, provided that the academic requirements for the Master\xc2\x92s degree are met.
  • Other qualifications can provide admission to the Master\xc2\x92s degree programme, provided the university assesses that their level, extent and content correspond to the degrees mentioned above.

In connection with possible admission, further requirements can be stipulated regarding the composition of the degree programme.
The following Bachelor\xc2\x92s degrees qualify students for admission to the Master\xc2\x92s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master of Science in Technology):

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from a Danish university if mathematical competencies equal to the courses Applied Linear Algebra (5 ECTS) and Stochastic Modelling and Processing (5 ECTS) can be documented.
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Nanotechnology from Aarhus University if mathematical competencies equal to the courses Applied Linear Algebra (5 ECTS) and Stochastic Modelling and Processing (5 ECTS) can be documented.
  • Other Bachelor\'s degrees can provide admission to the Master\xc2\x92s degree programme, provided the university assesses that their level, extent and content correspond to the degrees mentioned above.

In connection with possible admission, further requirements can be stipulated regarding the composition of the degree programme.
