Course Structure

  1. Geo tracks, which enable students to specialise in either urban, economic, environmental or political geography;
  2. Geo-skills, consisting of courses in which students develop a proper geographical habitus, providing them with relevant research methodologies, including qualitative, quantitative and mixed method research methods and GIS, as well as with other skills to prepare them for future labour market opportunities (presenting skills, cooperation skills, etc.);
  3. Geo focus, where students apply their geographical expertise in multidisciplinary teams, bringing together the four sub-disciplines into a common fieldwork project.

Applications\xc2\xa0will be carefully evaluated by the admissions committee. The committee determines whether all entry requirements as specified below are met and assesses the quality of each application in comparison with the other applications received.

Students with a Bachelor\xc2\x92s degree in human geography (sociale geografie) or in another closely related discipline (such as sociology, cultural anthropology, political science, economics, b\xc3\xa8ta\xc2\xad gamma and/or future planet studies provided it includes a major in human geography) are invited to apply, provided they meet all other entry requirements.

English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
