  1. The Master of Arts in Political Science \x96 Constitutional Law Studies offers students a strong foundation in a social science approach to law and courts. This unique program is one of the few of its kind in the nation and provides students with the reasoning and analytic skills necessary to understand the technical rules of law, legal practices and policies, and law more generally as a social phenomenon. Furthermore the program can provide students with the data analysis skills that many employers now seek.
  2. Students in this program will gain detailed knowledge of role of the judicial system in the evolution of public policy in the United States, and will learn analysis, application of theories, evaluation and research design relevant to the study of law and courts as well as other phenomena more broadly.

Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 3 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).
