Academic Requirements
To be eligible for the programme you must fulfil both the general and specific admission requirements. The general admission requirements are the same for all programmes at KTH while the programme specific varies between the programmes.
Programme specific admission requirements
A Bachelor\'s degree, corresponding to at least 180 ECTS credits, in Chemistry or closely related subject including courses in:
- Chemistry or closely related subject corresponding to at least 50 ECTS credits.
- Mathematics, Numerical analysis and Computer science corresponding to at least 20 ECTS credits.
Please note that the following TOEFL test score requirements are specific for the Master\'s programme in Macromolecular Materials, track Polymer Technology:
- Paper-based: 580 (written section grade 4,5)
- Internet-based test: 92 (written section grade 22)

In your motivation letter, please inform us in which university you will study the second year; Aalto University, Technical University of Danmark or Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
The list of qualifications for specific requirements should be divided in two sections under the headings:- Chemistry or closely related subjects
- Mathematics, Numerical Analysis and Computer Science
The student should list all courses from previous studies that qualify under the different headings. The student needs to convert the local credits system to ECTS credits for each course, where one full academic year of studies is equal to 60 ECTS credits. The ECTS total under each heading should amount to at least 50 ECTS credits Chemistry or closely related subjects and 20 ECTS credits Mathematics, Numerical Analysis and Computer Science.
All courses in the two fields taken previously should be listed under the headings. On-going relevant courses could also be listed, but they have to be clearly marked as not concluded.Tuition & Financial Information
