Admission Requirements

Academic Requirements

Minimally a four-year bachelor degree in an engineering discipline related to mechanical, materials, electronics or computer science engineering is required before entering this postgraduate programme. Preferentially, the student entering this postgraduate programme also holds a master degree in engineering.

Because incoming students are expected to have various backgrounds, admission will have to confirmed by a designated subcommittee of the Permanent Educational Committee (POC) responsible for Biomedical Engineering. This subcommittee will receive and study the applications for admission that are submitted to the student administration of KU Leuven.
