Academic Requirements

Given the specificity of the proposed in this program studies are required for the process of selecting candidates for the School of Visual Arts, in addition to the requirements set by the University, the fulfillment of the following:

  • Portfolio: the intention is to directly gauge the path of the applicants related to any of the areas of the visual arts. The portfolio should include work by the applicant, in art forms that constitute their main areas of interest and aptitude. It is evaluated by teachers of the Department of Visual Arts.
  • Theoretical skills test: measures the ability of visual analysis and the ability to organize ideas about art appreciation and areas of emphasis are offered from the curriculum (Audiovisual Expression, Graphic and Plastic). Also reveals the attitude or degree of interest in relation to the arts. It is evaluated by teachers of the Department of Visual Arts.
  • Practical skills test: measures the ability of observation, expression, representation or interpretation, using drawing as a basic tool of visual language. It is evaluated by teachers of the Department of Visual Arts.
