Academic Requirements
Standard entry
- Successful completion of an Undergraduate Degree in Business, Information Systems or Information Technology equivalent to an Australian Bachelor degree. Note: Applicants with a recognised bachelor degree in another discipline may be admitted to the Graduate Certificate and will have opportunity to continue to the Masters, where they will undertake additional units of specialisation in IS/IT and risk management or
- Successful completion of the Masters Qualifying Program.
Special entry
- A special entry provision is available for applicants without an appropriate qualification but who have significant relevant work experience (usually at least five years) and evidence of academic capability (e.g. successful completion of a Certificate or Diploma course at a TAFE with high grades or attaining a GMAT of 550 or higher). Such applicants may be eligible for admission to the Graduate Certificate of Project Management.
English language requirements
Satisfactory completion of Swinburnes English for Academic Purposes (EAP 5 Advanced level) with overall 70%, all skills 65%; OR, obtaining a minimum IELTS overall band of 6.5 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0; OR, a TOEFL iBT (internet-based) minimum score of 79 with no band less than 18; OR, Pearson (PTE) 58 (no communicative skills less than 50); OR, equivalent.English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
