Admission Requirements

Academic Requirements

You need the following GPA score:

Required score: Lower Second Class

Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to Lower Second Class on the UK Honour scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on the UK Honour scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).

Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).

Admission Requirements

A minimum of a lower-second class (2:2) UK honours undergraduate degree or its international equivalent from a recognised institution.

Other equivalent international qualifications as recommended by the National Academic Recognition Information Centre will be accepted. If you are unsure as to the comparability of your qualification, please contact us.

In most cases English and Maths at GCSE level are required.

Once you have completed the application form, please send us the following supporting documents, by post, email or fax:

  • Copies of academic transcripts and certificates from all previous studies (i.e. secondary school and/or university certificates)
  • One letter of academic reference
  • A 300-500 word personal statement/essay outlining your background; how you feel you would benefit from the course of study; and why you feel you would make a suitable candidate for the course
  • A copy of your passport photograph (ID) page
  • One recent passport-sized colour photograph, jpeg format (this must be emailed to us at:admit@regents.ac.uk)
  • If not a native English speaker, proof of your English proficiency
  • CV/r\xc3\xa9sum\xc3\xa9
English requirements

If your native language is not English you must provide evidence of your English proficiency, such as IELTS with an overall score of 6.5
