Academic Requirements

  1. Current honours students are encouraged to discuss possible postgraduate studies with lecturers throughout the year. During the honours year students are encouraged to identify a possible supervisor and a possible research topic for their thesis.
  2. A letter of recommendation from a lecturer is required attesting to the student\xc2\x92s eligibility for masters study and likelihood of success;
  3. Other areas of interest should be indicated in the event that no supervisor is available to supervise the proposed project;
  4. A copy of honours results is required (for students who apply from other universities). You must have an aggregate of at least 65% during your honours year to be eligible to apply. However, depending on the number of applications, a higher cut-off mark may be determined.

English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
