Academic Requirements
Grade average: Good grades comparable with an average mark of at least 7.5 (Dutch grading system) for the entire bachelor\'s programme, and a grade for the bachelor\'s thesis of an 8 or higher.
\nKnowledge minimum: Detailed knowledge of at least one of the following:\nThe grammar of the most important phases of the local language or languages, of the relevant scripts and of the historical development of those languages and scripts.\nThe archaeology, the material culture and art history of the region involved.\nThe cultural history of the region involved, including its literature, its religion, and its social structure.
\nPrevious education: A bachelor\'s degree from a university, equivalent to the level of a Dutch academic bachelor\'s degree.
