Academic Requirements
Applicants should either have at least a second class honours degree in the cognate subjects of Health Care, Nursing (Acute and Community), Health and Social Care, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Dietetics or Radiography, at least a second class honours degree in a non-cognate subject supported by evidence of an aptitude for the subject applied for, or have equivalent experience or training, normally from within the work environment.
All students will normally be working, in paid or unpaid employment, within health and/or community care as students need to be able to reflect on their experience and relate theory with practice.
All applicants should be able to evidence recent professional development/study; of working with different patient/client groups; awareness of current policies affecting the sector and potential implications for service delivery.
English Proficiency: IELTS 6 or equivalent.
