Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
Applicants should normally have at least a second class honours degree in the cognate subjects of Fine Art, Art Therapy, Humanities, Psychology, Social Sciences or Science. Professionals including Teachers, Social Workers, Nurses and others working in the caring professions will also be considered.
All applicants must have evidence of some relevant pre-course experience in a field related to the caring professions.
Those applicants who do not have graduate qualifications in fine art will need to submit a substantial and developing body of current artwork and demonstrate an ongoing commitment to their own artwork.
Applicants who do not have English as their first language are required to have IELTS 7.0 with no skill below 6.5 or an equivalent award. Satisfactory enhanced criminal history checks will be required by all applicants prior to acceptance on the course.
