Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
A writing sample of up to 20 pages in your area of interest, a resume, and a three to five page personal statement are required. Writing samples can include both academic and popular writing. Applicants who would like to be considered for the fellowship for the study of the public history of slavery should submit a personal statement that outlines their experience and interest in this area of work. Three letters of recommendation are also required.
