Course Structure
- You will graduate with a specialist education in audio and acoustics which could lead to a number of vocational opportunities. Graduates work in fields including audio production, sound design, audio systems design, acoustical consulting, and research and development of audio and acoustics products. Some graduates have used the degree as the foundation for a research degree in audio and acoustics.
- The secondary stream will prepare you to work as an independent lighting designer or lighting specialist, or to work with electrical products manufacturing, lighting management services or an energy services company.
Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
- A successful applicant for admission to the Master in Architectural Science will have a bachelor\'s degree or possess experience which is considered to demonstrate the knowledge and aptitude required to undertake the course.
- Applicants without the above requirement may be eligible for the Graduate Certificate, and apply to upgrade through the Diploma and Masters level by maintaining a credit average throughout the degree.

- Many Architectural Science units are taught as \'block-mode\' intensive classes, delivered over four to six full days, of which some fall on weekends to accommodate full-time working students. Some units however may be delivered in weekly lecture format.
- Masters students may also opt to graduate with a lower level of certification once the required units are complete.
- Please note that students may commence studies in Semester 2, however some courses are only available in part-time capacity due to the units on offer.
English language requirements
IELTS: A minimum result of 7.0 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band TOEFL paper-based: A minimum result of 592 overall including a minimum result of 4.5 in Writing TOEFL IBT: A minimum result of 96 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
English Proficiency: IELTS 7 or equivalent.
