Admission Requirements

Academic Requirements

You will be required to provide evidence of your primary dental qualification from a recognised institution.

You are also required to have at least two years\' experience in general professional practice.

You must complete the University of Manchester\'s online application form  and provide us with all your supporting documents as listed on the website. Supporting documents can be uploaded when you complete the application form or emailed to us at pgtaught.dentistry@manchester.ac.uk . Please include your University of Manchester ID number in all correspondence.

There is no application fee.

English language

Students whose first language is not English require one of the following:

  • Academic IELTS test 6.5 (with no less than 6.0 in the written component and no less than 5.5 in all components);
  • TOEFL test: 90 (internet-based) (Minimum: Listening 18; Writing 20; Reading 18 and Speaking 20);
  • Pearson Test 59-65 (with no less than 51 in each component.

English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
