Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
Students who wish to enroll in the first year of the second cycle degree in Biology must have, in addition to the curricular requirements stated in the academic regulations of the course, an adequate preparation both in matters fundamental to the preparation of the Biologist, such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science, and in basic biological disciplines that provide the essential knowledge about the morphological, functional and structural organization of living beings.
They must also know the biochemical, molecular and cellular mechanisms regulating inheritance, reproduction and development. In particular, they must document the previous acquisition of sufficient knowledge in the following scientific disciplines: Botany, Zoology, Ecology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cytology and Histology, Developmental Biology, Microbiology, General Physiology, Genetics, Pharmacology.
