Academic Requirements
You need the following GPA score:
Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 3 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).
Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).

- Online Interview: Monday, April 4th, 2016 (Please note: online interview only available to applicants living outside of the Pacific Northwest or with a special circumstance. Eligibility is on a case-by-case basis.)
- On Campus Interview: Friday, April 8th, 2016
Admission Requirements
- Bachelor\'s degree in the area of human services: psychology, sociology, social work, education, nursing, women\'s studies, cultural studies or a related academic area.
- Candidates with a bachelor\xc2\x92s degree in another discipline may apply if they submit proof of:
- 45 quarter hour credits (or 30 semester credits) in courses related to human services, or
- These applicants must submit the Counseling Programs Supplemental Application form within the online application.
- 500 supervised work/volunteer hours in human services.

International Students
- Applicants for whom English is a non-native language must demonstrate English proficiency.
- Graduate and post baccalaureate applicants who received a baccalaureate degree or higher from Seattle University or a recognized college or university in the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Ireland, New Zealand or Australia who remain in a country where English is the primary language for two years will not be required to submit English proficiency test scores.

- Applicants seeking an F-1 student visa must also submit a Declaration of Finances form.
