Academic Requirements
Educational qualifications
- Applicants must hold a three- or four-year Bachelor of Science degree from an internationally recognized university in the field applicable to the major studies. The overall grade (CGPA) of the degree should be at least 70 % of the maximum marks.
Suitable previous qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in the field of physics or other field applicable to the major.
Language skills
The official language of the programme is English, so a good command of the English language is an absolute prerequisite. Students whose mother tongue is not English are required to submit a certificate of their language proficiency. English-speaking countries are: Australia, Canada, Ireland, the UK and the USA.
One of the following language tests is required:
- TOEFL (min. score 79 in the internet-based test, 213 in the computer-based test, and 550 in the paper-based test
- IELTS (score 6.0 or higher)
- Cambridge Language Certificate (Proficiency CPE or Advanced CAE) (grade "C" or higher)
- PTE (score 53 or higher)
The minimun acceptable score in writing is 5.5 in IELTS and 20 in TOEFL (internet-based test)
English Proficiency: IELTS 6 or equivalent.
