Course Structure
- General Education Courses - These are required for every student and consist of Philosophy of Science and Technology and foreign language courses.
- Core Courses - These are foundation courses and are required for every student. The student can select from a list that covers mathematics, algorithms, fundamentals of software engineering, operating systems, and computer network.
- Required Courses - These are engineering practice courses that provide the student practical skills that are needed in the IT industry. Topics covered in these courses include programming languages, introduction to development methodologies, special purpose application programming interfaces (APIs), application of programmable devices, state-of-the-art software technologies, and capstone projects.
- Elective Courses - These include general technical elective courses that are designed to broaden student\x92s career spectrum and consist of an introduction to various technical areas, and concentration elective courses that enable the student to pursue an in-depth study in a selected area.

Academic Requirements
- Non-Chinese citizens,physically and mentally healthy, and no more than 40 years old
- Bachelor\xc2\x92s degree holder (equivalent to Bachelor\xc2\x92s degree in China)
- Chinese Proficiency: new HSK Band 4 or above (not necessary for English-taught majors)
