  • Personal statement:Within the online application, the autobiographical statement page includes suggested topics as an outline to your personal statement. Please review them carefully. Applying to the Online MSW program? You must answer the extra question which appears below the autobiographical statement in the online application form;
  • Undergraduate and graduate transcripts: At the time of applying, we require you to upload an unofficial transcript from the undergraduate institution where you earned your bachelors degree. You must also submit unofficial transcripts for any graduate courses you have completed. *Please note: If you are accepted into the program you, will be required to submit a final official transcript from the undergraduate institution where you earned your bachelors degree PRIOR to registration for classes. If you are planning on submitting a credit transfer request for graduate level social work courses, we will also need the official transcript for those courses before your can register;
  • Three letters of recommendation: Your letters of recommendation should be from people who know your academic capabilities, your employment skills or the personal qualities that would make you a valued social worker. Approved recommenders are past and present employers, professors and approved volunteer coordinators. You need to provide an email address for each of your three references. We will send instructions to your references on how to submit their letter by email. (Emailed letters of recommendation will automatically become part of your online application.)
