- Fundamentals of International Tax Law: the basis of international taxation
- Tax treaties: basic structure and application
- Foundations of European Union Law
- Fiscal Sovereignty and the Fundamental Freedoms: the impact of primary European Union law in the field of direct taxation
- Direct Tax Coordination and Harmonisation: analysis of the steps undertaken to harmonise European fiscal system
- General Principles of EU Law: the role of general principles to law in the European context
- EU procedural law and taxation: analysis of various procedural aspects. This course will be concluded by a field trip to one of the European institutions

Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
- hold a law degree that gives access to the legal professions in the country where the degree was obtained. Graduates from fields other than law (e.g. a graduate degree in economics or business administration) may also be admitted, provided their previous studies included a substantial legal component;
- demonstrate a sufficiently high performance in their previous studies, validated by marks on their University Degree/Transcript and the accompanying mark criteria, and letters of recommendation from current or previous professors and/or employers;
- demonstrate a keen interest in EU Tax Law, illustrated by, among other things, a letter of motivation, past experience related to the subject\xc2\xa0
English Proficiency: IELTS 7 or equivalent.
