Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
Admission to the MEnvGov will be open to students who have completed at a recognised university in Australia or abroad:
- Bachelor degree with honours (at least at lower second class honours) in law, environmental studies or other relevant discipline as determined by UTAS; or
- Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline, without honours (but with a credit average or better) and having at least 1.5 years of relevant professional experience.
International students must provide an IELTS test score of at least Band 6 with a minimum of 6.0 on all bands or a TOEFL score of 575 with a Test of Written English score of no less than 4.5. This test must not be more than 24 months old at the date of application to the course.
Applicants would not normally be interviewed; however, at the discretion of UTAS, in some cases an applicant might need to be interviewed (in person or by telephone).
English Proficiency: IELTS 6 or equivalent.
