Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
UCAS Tariff Points: 320 points required. (Minimum 200 from 2 A Levels or equivalent excluding General Studies. A minimum of 100 points at A Level must be from a Biological Science. This can include Applied Science).

Additional Requirements:
- GCSEs:You will require GCSE Grade C in English and Mathematics (or equivalent).Key Skills, Functional Skills and the Certificate in Adult Numeracy/Literacy are accepted in place of GCSEs.
- Access to HE Diploma:In a relevant subject, pass overall with 60 credits. A minimum of 45 credits at Level 3, with Merit must be achieved. At Least 15 Level 3 credits must be in Biology and 15 level 3 credits must be in other science subjects. GCSE English Language, Maths and equivalents, if required, must be achieved from additional units.
- Scottish Awards:Highers - grades ABBBB to include a Biological Science
- Irish Leaving Certificate:5 subjects at Higher Level at grade B2. Must include grade B2 in a Biological Science.
- Foundation Course:Foundation courses must include the equivalent of Biology A level and another science A level.
- Selection Criteria: :We may use selection criteria based on your personal attributes; experience and/or commitment to the area of study. This information will be derived from your personal statement and reference and will only be used if you have met the general entry requirements.There will be a selection process at the end of Year 2. Students will be required to achieve at least a 2.2 mark in Year 2 and there will be an interview.
