The minimum entry qualification is a three-year bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification, completed at a specified minimum level of attainment. Candidates entering the programme must have:
a New Zealand university degree, or equivalent qualification, and
professional qualifications and experience.
Candidates who have completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Teaching or equivalent qualification demonstrating appropriate academic achievement may be granted Recognition of Prior Learning enabling them to gain entry directly to Part II of the programme.
