Academic Requirements
- two official transcripts (bearing registrars signature and/or the institutions seal) from each post-secondary institution attended, documenting all courses taken (within or outside a degree program), grades received, and degrees earned.
- three reference names: individuals who can discuss you as a designer and/or your design work.
- a sample portfolio of photographs or scanned images on CDs of design work (production photos, renderings, etc) and other artistic skills (drawings, renderings, photography, sculpture) that do not need to be returned. Applicants interviewed at U/RTA do not need to send a sample portfolio.
- official TOEFL scores for international applicants whose native language is not English. The Educational Testing Service will send official results directly to Northwestern University\'s Graduate School.
