Course Structure

  1. Option 1: STAT/MATH 414-415 and at least three 500-level courses from the department.
  2. Option 2: Five or more courses totaling 15 credits at the 500-level from the department. Stat 464 may also count toward the 15 credits.
  3. Option 3: Four 500-level courses totaling 12 credits from the department and one additional course of 3 credits approved by the department head or graduate studies chairman.

Academic Requirements

For admission to the Graduate School, an applicant must hold a degree from an officially recognized degree-granting institution in the country in which it operates. Degree must be a:

  • Baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or
  • Tertiary (postsecondary) degree that is deemed comparable to a four-year bachelor\'s degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution.

English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
