Academic Requirements
To apply for the Master\'s programme in International Business Communication and Communication Design, you need a relevant Bachelor\'s degree. You can apply if you hold one of the following Bachelor degrees:
- BA in International Business Communication with a foreign language and a subject area (the foreign language must match the applied programme)
- BA in International Business Communication with two foreign languages (one of the foreign languages must match the applied programme)
- A Professional Bachelor\'s degree in English and IT-based Marketing Communication.
You can also apply if you hold a similar degree including a minimum of:
- 40 ECTS within the applied foreign language in relation to business communication, including:
- 15 ECTS within methodological and analytical skills.
If your degree does not fulfill the entry requirements, the study board will decide whether you can follow one or more supplementary courses.
Language requirements
The language requirements differ depending on the applied foreign language.
If you apply for the programme with English as a foreign language, you must prove a proficiency in English equivalent to level B in a Danish high school.
If you apply for the programme with German or Danish as a foreign language, you also need a proficiency in English equivalent to a B-level since the programme is taught in English. However, since translation tasks are a part of these programmes, it is important that you possess further qualifications in either English, Danish or German.
Therefore, if you apply for the programme with German as a foreign language, you must prove:
- English on an A-level, or:
- English on a B-level and Danish on an A-level. Nordic applicants can prove a proficiency in Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish or Icelandic equivalent to a Danish A-level.
If you apply for the programme with Danish as a foreign language, you must prove:
- English on an A-level, or:
- English on a B-level and German on an A-level.
