Academic Requirements
Applicants for a Master Degree (Research) are required to meet University academic and English language entry standards. Applicants require a Bachelor Degree with a strong academic performance and may also require relevant substantial work experience or Bachelor Honours Degree (first or second class) or Graduate Diploma. Any specific course entry and completion requirements must also be met.
Specifically applicants require a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) or equivalent in a welfare-related discipline, or a graduate diploma in social welfare from a recognised tertiary institution. Prospective students are expected to have attained the equivalent of first or upper second-class honours. Applicants with superior performance in the Bachelor of Arts or equivalent degree and two years work experience in the field of social sciences are considered.
