Academic Requirements
You need the following GPA score:
Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 2.75 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).
Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).
Submit the MAT application package, which includes the following:
- A completed application with three MAT reference forms
- $50 application fee
- Passing scores on required basic skills exams or equivalent (ACT/SAT, GRE with minimum score)
- 500-word (maximum) essay or Statement of Purpose, which should contain your personal view on why you believe it is important for you to become part of the program. The interview committee will review the essay to determine your motivation, interests, quality and clarity of writing, and ability to communicate ideas.
- Official academic transcript from an accredited college or university indicating you had a minimum cumulative GPA of at least 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.
