Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
- Admission to the UMKC School of Graduate Studies
- Acceptance by the Head of the Master of Fine Arts program
- A Bachelor of Arts degree from a recognized university or college and acceptance by the faculty mentor for the area of admission.\xc2\xa0 A student having a bachelor\xc2\x92s degree in another discipline may be admitted upon the recommendation of the area head.\xc2\xa0 A precondition to admission might be a requirement of completion of undergraduate Theatre courses, as determined by the area head.\xc2\xa0 These courses will not be credited toward the requirements for graduation in the MFA program unless approved in advance by the area head.
