Academic Requirements
Each first-time application to the\nGraduate School must be accompanied by an application fee. The fee for domestic\nstudents is $45. The fee for domestic reapplications is $45.\xc2\xa0 The\xc2\xa0Graduate Application\xc2\xa0should be submitted to the Graduate School with a\nnon-refundable application fee of $70 payable to The University of Akron. The\nfee for international reapplications is $45. Application fees will\xc2\xa0not\xc2\xa0be waived or deferred. Applications that\ndo not accompany the application fee will not be processed. The Graduate School must also receive an official\ntranscript from each college or university attended before the application will\nbe processed. This applies to the complete academic record, both undergraduate\nand graduate. Transcripts should be sent from the institutions attended\ndirectly to the Graduate School. The applicant is responsible for seeing that\nthe above conditions are met by the deadlines for filing applications.
