Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
To qualify for admission, a candidate must fulfill the general Makerere University entry requirements for a masters degree, and in addition the candidate must fulfill one of the requirements below:
- Be a holder of a first class or upper second bachelors degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field from Makerere University or another recognized University. OR
- Be a holder of a lower second bachelors degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field from Makerere University or another recognized University and must have 2 year of working experience in Telecommunication or a related filed.OR
- Be a holder of a pass bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering from Makerere University or another recognized University; must have 2 year of working experience in Telecommunication or a related filed and has demonstrated academic maturity by successfully accomplishing the Postgraduate Diploma in Electrical Engineering with a fist or upper second class.
