You would normally be involved in paediatrics, paediatric intensive care, emergency medicine, anaesthesia, paediatric surgery or primary care/general practice, particularly when considering the acute and urgent care of ill and injured children. This does not preclude those in other medical specialties from applying but prior discussion with the Programme Directors is advised.
Some relevant on-going clinical experience involving ill and injured children is essential, as course work will involve reflection on past or present management of paediatric cases. If you are uncertain about your level of clinical exposure, the Programme Directors are happy to discuss this and can be contacted via the Programme Administrator.
