Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
- A bachelor\xc2\x92s degree from an accredited institution with a GPA of at least 3.5 and a major in visual arts. For applicants with an MFA or other graduate degree, a GPA of at least 3.5.
- A liberal arts distribution to include the following: a minimum of 6 credits of English; 6 credits in a language other than English (3 years of high school study in the same foreign language with grades of C or better documented by high school transcript meets this requirement); 6 credits in political science, history, economics, or geography (with at least one course in history or geography); and 12 credits in math/science/technology (a college course in calculus meets this requirement).

- 24 credits in studio art
- Two professional references.
- A personal statement.
- A digital portfolio of 20 examples of artistic works is submitted as part of the application
- An interview by faculty for qualified applicants.
- Submission of official score report on the Graduate Record Examination (GRE).
