Program Curriculum

  • Signal generator Rohde & Schwarz SMW200A: Vector signal generator. Frequency range up to 31.8 GHz. 500 MHz bandwidth 
  • Signal analyzer Rohde & Schwarz FSW26: Real time spectrum analyzer. Frequency range up to 26.5 GHz. 160 MHz bandwidth. Minimum sweep time: 3 us (51.3 us in real time mode). FFTs/second: 585.938. Capture time of max BW: 7 s. Frequency mask triggers.
  • Oscilloscope Keysight MSOX4104A: Digital oscilloscope. Four analog channels. 1 GHz bandwidth. 5GSa/s
  • Software defined radio devices for prototyping with external common clock with GPS synchronization module. In particular, several units of ETTUS USRP N321, N320, E312, B210, N210 and Octoclock
  • Rohde & Schwarz CMW RF Shield Box. RF shield box with frequency range up to 6 GHz. Integrated broadband spiral antenna. 
  • Mobile communication base station and network emulators:
    • Amarisoft callbox pro: Network emulator covering all FDD and TDD bands in FR1 for 5G and 4G, including NB-IoT and LTE-M. 5G stand-alone and non-stand-alone operation. It accounts for 6 PCIe SDR cards, thus allowing configuration examples such as: 2x 5G NR 50 MHz 4x4 (SA), 2x 5G NR 40 MHz 4x4 + 1x LTE 20 MHz 4x4 (NSA)
    • LTE Rohde-Schwarz CMW-500 base station emulator.
    • GSM base station emulator HP-8922.
  • Leaky (radiant) coaxial installation (100 m) @2.4 GHz
  • Professional Digital Field Video Broadcasting Terrestrial meter Promax DVB-T TV Explorer HD+: Field measurement device for DVB-T/T2, DVB-S/S2 and DVB-C
  • Modulator COFDM DVB-T MO-170. DVB-T modulator with 3 TS MPEG-2 inputs. Capable of hierarchical mode. BW of 6,7 or 8 MHz. 2k and 8k IFFT modes. Supports all DVB-T modulation and coding schemes and guard intervals.
  • Energy efficiency studies:
    • Hameg power meter for the characterization of power consumption and optimization of energy efficiency.
    • High sensitivity current probe Keysight N2820A: "High sensitivity 2 channel current probe. Minimum current range of 50 uA. Maximum current range of 5 A. Wide dynamic range of >20,000:1 or 86 dB. Bandwidth: 3 MHz zoom-out channel, 500 kHz zoom-in channel
    • Solar panels for autonomous systems.
  • Devices for Massive IoT communications: Over 150 devices from different manufacturers (Nordic, Redbear and Texas Instruments) and models. Most of them provide multiprotocol support for Bluetooth Low Energy, Bluetooth Mesh, NFC, Thread and Zigbee over the 2.4 GHz band.
