In the faculty building you will find superb computing resources, a graduate common room and an excellent discipline-specific library.\', "The English Faculty Library holds over 110,000 volumes, a wide range of print journals and provides regular information skills training to support teaching and research in English. In addition, you have access to all of Oxford \'s libraries, numbering over one hundred and including the world-famous collections of the Bodleian Library.", \'You will have the opportunity to hear lectures and papers by leading writers, critics, and theorists from inside and outside the University. You are also encouraged to participate in the many research seminars and reading groups that run throughout term time, many of which are organised by graduates themselves.\', \'There is an active and lively graduate organisation funded by the department, English Graduates at Oxford (EGO), that organises study skills and career development seminars, social events and conferences.\', \'In the most recent Research Assessment Exercise (2010) the Faculty of English had the highest number of 3* and 4* research outputs, more than double that of almost every other department in the country. It is the largest English department in the country with around 75 professors, readers and lecturers, and has been regularly voted the top university department nationally and internationally for English in various university guides and league tables.\']
