Academic Requirements
You need the following GPA score:
Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 2.5 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).
Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).

Educational goals beyond the master\xc2\x92s level, if applicable, are also relevant. Try to place your objectives within a context that includes your past experience. Especially given that this is a writing program, use the statement as an opportunity to demonstrate your writing skills.
Two letters of recommendation
- While the official Recommendation Form is required, an actual letter from the recommender is preferred.
Recommended minimum undergraduate cumulative GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale)
Writing sample: 8\xc2\x9610 pages
- Submission can be previous academic papers, previously published articles, short stories, collections of poems, or a selection of pieces from multiple genres that showcase writing abilities.
