About This Scholarship
The African Programme for Onchocerciasis Control trains African researchers in tropical disease research with a focus on river blindness and related neglected tropical diseases. While APOC as a programme has concluded, the research networks it established continue to support African researchers through WHO/TDR and national research councils. The programme has trained over 500 African researchers.
