The Regular Officer Training Plan (ROTP) provides fully funded undergraduate education at either the Royal Military College of Canada or a Canadian civilian university for students who commit to becoming Canadian Armed Forces officers. Benefits include tuition, books, equipment, accommodation, and a monthly salary during studies. In return, recipients serve a minimum number of years as officers commensurate with their years of funded education. Graduates commission into the Army, Navy, or Air Force and pursue careers across engineering, intelligence, logistics, aviation, and combat arms. The programme develops well-rounded officers equipped for leadership in complex modern environments.
