About This Scholarship
The US Department of State's Critical Language Scholarship Programme offers intensive overseas language and cultural immersion programmes for American students in 15 critical languages including Arabic, Chinese, Hindi, Russian, Persian, Swahili, and Turkish. CLS provides 8-10 weeks of intensive language training abroad. Awards are fully funded including travel, accommodation, food, and cultural activities.
