FIBA's development fund supports coaching licence courses at the FIBA Africa, FIBA Asia, FIBA Americas, and FIBA Oceania levels. 3x3 basketball development scholarships are available for athletes in nations seeking to build competitive 3x3 teams for Olympic qualification. Wheelchair basketball development funding is separately administered through the IPC but coordinated with FIBA's programme for integration into mainstream basketball events.
