About This Scholarship
GLAAD accelerates acceptance of LGBTQ+ people through dynamic media journalism and entertainment advocacy. The GLAAD Campus Ambassador Programme and associated research fellowships support students studying journalism, communications, and media to report on and advocate for LGBTQ+ representation and acceptance. Fellows gain mentoring from GLAAD staff, experience at GLAAD events and media monitoring activities, and connections with entertainment industry advocates. The GLAAD Media Awards provide additional recognition for outstanding LGBTQ+ media content.
